Die Suche nach dieser führt ihn der Weg an viele Orte.

Er begegnet Menschen, Tieren und Dingen, die er um Rat fragt,

aber solange er den Hinweisen folgt, die er bekommt,

läuft er nur immer mehr in die Irre.

Wo wird er schließlich ankommen?

A boy accidentally dropped his special pea while at a fairground.

In his sadness upon realizing he had lost this special token,

he had to decide how to go about finding it again; should he ask

a king, mouse, the stars, or the being at the center of the world?

This picture book is baced upon an old tale from India that has survived to this day in various forms from multiple cultures.
